20 OCT 4:05 PM ET Game

Chargers @ Titans

It’s the battle of the 2-4 teams! Not the record you would be expecting from the Chargers 6 weeks into the season. Fortunately, a week 7 matchup against the Titans could be exactly what this team needs to get back on track. The Titans offense has been a mess & quite frankly, I do not believe that Ryan Tannehill is the answer nor is Marcus Mariota the problem. Regardless, I don’t see the Titans winning this game as the Chargers seem to look better experienced compared to a Titan team that has a new starting quarterback.

Score: 27-23, Chargers Win.

13 OCT 4:25 PM ET Game

Ravens @ Seahawks

Revenge game, with a homecoming. Earl Thomas will set foot on Century Link field for the first time in his career not rocking a Seahawk jersey! Since his departure, the Seahawks haven’t skipped a beat on the defensive side of the ball. In fact, with the addition of pass rusher, Jadeveon Clowney, this defense looks just a bit scarier than last year’s unit. Seattle is anyways used to Thomas not in the secondary as he suffered a season ending tibia injury in just the 4th week of the 2018 season.

A little over a year later he has replaced safety Eric Weddle (signed with Rams in April) on Baltimore. The 3-3 Ravens head to Century Link where it is simply not easy to win games. Unfortunately, Earl Thomas & his flock of Ravens are going to be on the receiving end of that. With Marquise Brown likely out for the second consecutive week, I expect the Ravens offense to try to attack the Seahawk run defense. However, this one-dimensional offensive attack is not going to get the job done n the road. I expect Wilson & the Seahawk offense to exploit this secondary with newest member, Marcus Peters who already lost to Seattle 2 weeks ago as a member of the Rams… feels like deja vu.

Score: 33-26, Seahawks Win.

Saints @ Bears

I’ve bet against the Saints a handful of times since Brees went down with a thumb injury only for them to prove me wrong. This week I’ll take my chances on the Saints with good reason. The Bears defense coming off a bye week is already a tough task to handle if you are Bridgewater on the road. But on top of that, no Alvin Kamara or Jared Cook on offense? Certainly not the best recipe for a road W. However, the Saints defense is going to be the key to victory. Last time I checked, #10 is not playing QB for the Bears which is already a big weakness in this offense. On top of that Bridgewater has won 7 of his last 8 career road games as the Bears have failed to win a game following their bye since 2014.

Score: 17-13, Saints Win.

Sunday Night Football

Eagles @ Cowboys

An NFC East divisional matchup between two 3-3 teams. The Cowboys & Eagles! I believe that the winner of this game could potentially take the division. The Eagles. Yes the Eagles are winning this game for several reasons. Despite that the Eagles are allowing 280.2 Pass YPG this season, they have not allowed a 100+ yard rusher in 34 consecutive games dating back to the 2017 season! Making Dak Prescott throw the ball is going to go in the Eagles favor more than you’d think. Main concern for the Cowboys is Amari Cooper’s status questionable with a quad injury. Even if he does play, there is no guarantee he truly is at a 100%. To make matters worse for the Cowboys offense, they will once again be without Tyron Smith on the offensive line. Eagles fly outta Dallas with a BIG W!

Score: 27-23, Eagles Win.

Monday Night Football

Patriots @ Jets

Sam Darnold is back & the Jets look somewhat promising in the AFC East… but not promising enough to beat a Patriots team at home. For starters, the Patriots defense has 14 interceptions while allowing only 1 passing TD! On top of that, the Jets star running back, Le’Veon Ball has been great in everything except running the ball. The free agent find has failed to top a 100 YDS rushing in each of his 5 games this season. Not the best bet against a Pats defense allowing only 1 running back all year to top 40 yards rushing. The last 4 times these two divisional rivals have met, it has resulted in a 10+ point victory in favor of the Patriots. Pats stay undefeated as Jets get swept by the Pats once again.
