BYE WEEK: Packers, Seahawks, Titans, Giants

17 NOV 4:05 PM ET Game

Cardinals @ 49ers

3 weeks after going head to head on Halloween night, the Cards & Niners are set to clash this week to open the late-window games. The 49ers are no longer perfect after a Monday night loss to the Seahawks. Fortunately for them, they play the Cards for the 2nd time in three weeks with hopes to sweep them. Despite Kyler Murray having his best career game against the 49ers, I expect their stout defense to show up yet again and take the #1 overall pick to school. 49ers bounce back and stay atop the NFC.

Score: 27-21, 49ers Win.

17 NOV 4:25 PM ET Game

Raiders @ Bengals

The easiest game pick since the Dolphins started winning games. The Bengals are winless. The Raiders are above .500 with one of the best running backs this season. The Bengals have the worst rush defense in the league & offensively they will be without AJ Green yet again. I can keep going… but I won’t. Raiders win their 3rd straight.

Score: 31-13, Raiders Win.

Patriots @ Eagles

Rematches are a great thing. Revenge is even better. The Eagles are the only team in the league since 2015 to have a winning record (2-0) against the Patriots. The last time these two teams went head to head? Super Bowl 52. A game that resulted in the highest scoring super bowl ever. This week? It’s going to be a beat down. After losing their first game of the season the Patriots look to bounce back in their second consecutive road game & spoiler alert! It' happens! Carson Wentz & the Eagles offense is too much of a question mark. Besides he didn’t lead the Eagles to their Super Bowl victory.. Nick Foles did. No Foles, no chance! Quite frankly though, the Eagles look like a one-dimensional offense as they have failed to have a 100 yard rusher since their 2017 season. Wentz will be the Eagles primary form of attack & going up against a Pats secondary surrendering a mere 45.8 passer rating to opposing QBs, the Birds will be grounded. Brady & Belichick tie up some loose ends in Philly!

Score: 31-23, Patriots Win.

Sunday Night Football

Bears @ Rams

Okay, enough with the critics. Enough with the talk about the Rams not being contenders this season. Sure they don’t look like legitimate contenders, however, this week they will bounce back. The only reason the Bears got the W last week was because the Lions did not have starting QB, Matthew Stafford. This is a very lopsided matchup in Los Angeles.

Here’s the rundown: Both the Rams & Bears running backs have struggled. Todd Gurley has not rushed for 100+ YDS in 8 consecutive games as Bears’ David Montgomery has failed to rush for 70+ YDS in 8 of 9 games this season. The Bears defense stumped the Rams offense last year. This year the Rams give the Bears a taste of their own medicine. The Rams defense has allowed a mere 12.3 PPG to opposing teams since week 7 (lowest in NFL). Not the best matchup for Bears’ Mitchell Trubisky who has 5 games this season with 0 TD passes. On top of that, according to next gen stats, the Rams defense has pressured QBs on 35.8% of dropbacks this season (most in NFL).

Score: 21-13, Rams Win.

International Game: Mexico City

Monday Night Football

Chiefs “@” Chargers

The first international game in Mexico City is going to be an AFC West showdown! Both the Chargers & Chiefs are coming off road losses. Expect this week to be a one-sided affair in favor of the Chiefs as they have won 9 of their last 10 matchups against the Chargers. On top of that, the Chiefs electric offense has scored at least 24 points in 25 of their last 26 games. To make matters worse, all 6 Charger losses this season has come within one-possesion games. I expect Monday night to mark the first Charger loss to be more than one-possesion. Chiefs bounce back & stay atop the AFC West as the Chargers go spiraling down hill.

Score: 33-21, Chiefs Win.
