Raiders @ Chargers

An AFC West rivalry in Southern California is exactly what the Raiders need. With the season winding down in a mere 2 weeks the Raiders are in the hunt, trying to find a way into the postseason. With the stakes & upside higher for Oakland than Los Angeles in this matchup, I’m taking the Raiders. Their defense needs to hold up against Rivers & shut down this high voltage offense to secure the road W.

Score: 27-20, Raiders Win.

Lions @ Broncos

This is practically a game lock. Broncos rookie, Drew Lock has looked great in his 3 starts & I don’t see him slowing down at home against the Lions. Detroit is averaging 15.0 PPG since Week 12 (2nd-fewest in NFL), something that does not bode well against a top-10 ranked Bronco’ defense when it comes to PPG. Drew Lock got this one LOCKed up!

Score: 27-17, Broncos Win.

Cowboys @ Eagles

DAK.png

The Battle for the NFC East is here & I got the Boys’ not only sweeping Philly but securing themselves a playoff spot! The Cowboys have faced their fair share of losses when it comes to teams above .500, however, against teams at .500 or below, the Boys’ have a record of 6-2. I expect that success to continue in this pivotal division game. I’m not only calling a Cowboys win, I’m calling a dominant victory as this is the Cowboys division to win.

Sure, the NFC East does not consistent of a single team deserving of a playoff spot, however, this is simply the Eagles game to lose. Philly leads the league in dropped passes & with the Cowboys not showing signs of slowing down, I’m going with Dallas.

Score: 28-20, Cowboys Win.

Cardinals @ Seahawks

Yes the Cards have won yet another game! This week they play the #1 seeded NFC West Seahawks. A Seahawk sweep is exactly what the Hawks’ need & it’s exactly what the Hawks’ want heading into a pivotal divisional game next week.

Score: 30-21, Seahawks Win.

Sunday Night Football

Chiefs @ Bears

One of the easiest primetime games of the season, the Chiefs head to Chi-Town to take on the Bears. The Bears have allowed 18.1 PPG this season (3rd-fewest in NFL). They are the only top-7 scoring defense to currently not have a playoff spot.

The league’s reigning MVP is 4-0 in his career against top-5 scoring defenses. On top of that, he has himself a Chief defense that has allowed a mere 17 points or fewer in 4 consecutive games (T-longest active streak in NFL) to opposing offenses. Based on this Week’s predictions, this win along with the Bills victory on Saturday would propel the Chiefs into the #2 seed of the AFC & send the Patriots to, dare I say it, the wild-card round.

Score: 27-13, Chiefs Win.

Monday Night Football

Packers @ Vikings

Perhaps the biggest Monday Night game of the season, the Vikes’ are going to look like a one-dimensional offense, What looked like a potential division win has taken a turn in the wrong direction. Aaron Rodgers & the Pack look to notch their first W in US Bank Stadium as Kirk Cousins looks to battle of his Monday Night woes… an NFL worst 0-8 record on Monday Night Football. Without Dalvin Cook & a Packer defense that has allowed a mere 15 points or fewer in the last 3 games, I am convinced the Packers will in fact take the division & secure themselves a much-needed first-round bye. Besides Rodgers knows what’s at stake Monday night… a loss would definitely keep them as the top-seeded wild card team. Not always the most ideal playoff situation.
